Your journey begins as you kick back and relax in American Airlines Business Class, bound for Europe. After being lovingly restored to its former grandeur, No.10 avenue d’Iéna’s “Palais” was reborn as Shangri-La Paris. Centrally located in the 16th arrondissement, minutes from the Champs-Elysées, the hotel blends European grandeur with traditional Asian hospitality. ITINERARY AT A GLANCE:
Participants will depart individual home gateways on March 7th and arrive to London the following day via American Airlines Business Class. Upon checking in to the Shangri-La The Shard, you will meet your fellow Millennials in Travel participants and our FAM hosts for dinner. The following day will include both unique experiences and free time to allow you to explore London on your own. The third day together kicks off with a journey via Eurostar Train to Paris. Overlooking the Eiffel Tower, the stay at Shangri-La Paris is sure to be one you won’t soon forget. The next day, enjoy the City of Light with some included activities and free time before concluding our FAM with a farewell dinner.
Millennials in Travel and Shangri-La are committed to supporting sustainability and giving back to communities that we visit during our travels. A volunteer activity will be incorporated into this itinerary. Your participation and support of this important initiative is appreciated!
This FAM opportunity is open to travel advisors who are currently employed and/or actively selling travel to the luxury market, including premium air sales. Millennials in Travel requires that all FAM participants be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to the FAM start date.

INCLUSIONS:
Round-trip confirmed business class airfare from any American Airlines serviced airport
Flights confirmed from participants home gateway if gateway is serviced by American Airlines or a regional subsidiary
All flights confirmed in business class, provided the aircraft used has business class
Deviations of 1-3 days are permitted and can be confirmed at time of ticketing, directly with American Airlines
Flights must arrive into London (LHR) and depart from Paris (CDG)
Airfare taxes and fees are approximately $400 per person, to be paid directly to American Airlines following confirmation of FAM participation

Pre and Post Nights are available with Shangri-La based on availability.
Pre Nights at Shangri-La The Shard, London are 265£ per night, inclusive of VAT and breakfast for one guest.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participation in this FAM is reserved for active Millennials in Travel advisor members and is limited to seven participants; no companions, please. An additional $80 in cash will be collected by the MIT host upon arrival to cover gratuities. A completed COVID-19 vaccination at least two weeks prior to the FAM start date is required. Although subject to change; entry requirements for Great Britain can be found here; for France can be found here; and return entry requirements to the United States can be found here. Submission of your application does not guarantee acceptance. Application deadline is Feb 2nd, 2022. You will be notified by Millennials in Travel of your FAM acceptance on or around February 4th, 2022 and must reconfirm acceptance by February 7th, 2022 with a signed Millennials in Travel Release Form and payment of $250.00. An additional payment of $400.00 (approximate) for airfare taxes with be payable directly to American Airlines and are non-refundable. Should you be offered a spot and are unable to accept participation due to unapproved absence from work, you may no longer qualify for future FAM opportunities. Should you confirm participation and need to cancel after February 10th, 2022, you will be charged a $50 cancellation penalty. Please do not confirm any travel plans before being explicitly notified by Millennials in Travel of your acceptance.
