Join the LAX chapter of Millennials in Travel for 2023's first networking event! Meet new faces, connect with old friends, and experience DTLA's newest and most stylish luxury property, Hotel Per La (the former Nomad L.A.), on March 16th from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Hotel Per La's ornate historic interiors, including the Mezzanine where we will be meeting, date back to 1922 and truly recall the glamour of old Los Angeles.
Situated in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, Hotel Per La is inspired by the building in which it’s housed. Originally the Bank of Italy, a historic 12-story building on the corner of Olive and 7th Street, the space is a symbol of inclusion and accomplishment. Per La is an inspired name that translates to “For The” in Italian, a nod to the building's storied beginning as a bank for the people. Its founder, Amadeo Giannini, believed in the dignity and abilities of those commonly overlooked. In essence, the hotel's name means: “For Los Angeles, and people like you. Hotel Per La is a study in translating luxury, the meaning it takes depending on taste. A playfully warm confluence of classical sensibilities and local inspiration brings this new vision of refinement to life.
