CHS Summer Fitness and Festivity with Belmond

  • The Longevity Club 163 Rutledge Avenue Charleston, SC, 29403 United States (map)

Join Millennials in Travel Charleston and Belmond for a fun night of fitness followed by a rooftop reception!

Please join the Millennials in Travel CHS Chapter and our sponsor, Belmond, for a fun night of fitness followed by a rooftop reception at The Longevity Club.

There will be two 55 min private fitness classes running simultaneously (Yoga or Mat Pilates) from 5:45 PM to 6:40 PM followed by a standing reception afterwards on the rooftop deck (or inside if weather does not permit). Our Belmond hosts, Natalie & Nelson, will provide a brief overview/updates of Belmond while we enjoy a selection of food from Babas on Meeting/Goat Sheep Cow and sip on champagne.

IMPORTANT: Both the Yoga & Mat Pilates have class size limits. After you register for the event, you must email the CHS team with your choice of class:

1) Vinyasa Yoga Flow

2) Mat Pilates

3) Neither class and will join just the reception

Those taking the class need to arrive at the studio at 5:30pm for a 5:45pm start time.

Those coming for just the reception can arrive at 6:45pm and proceed to the 4th floor reception area.

*Note that due to capacity and needing final counts of class participation, you must register for this even NO LATER than May 31st.

This event is hosted by Belmond’s Natalie Aldridge, Leisure Account Director, Southeast, and Nelson Billington, Account Director, Sales Strategy.

Belmond is a collection of 50 iconic hotels, trains and river cruises worldwide. Culture, well-being, and cuisine take center stage in curated adventures from the Mediterranean to Machu Picchu. Inspiring retreats are set on Caribbean beaches, by the edge of Iguassu Falls and overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Awe-inspiring train journeys include the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Andean Explorer. Intoxicating river cruises plunge guests into the heart of France. Belmond celebrates the art of travel in extraordinary ways.

Parking: There is parking underneath the club in a garage that is free. There is metered street parking on Rutledge Ave, Doughty St. and Ashley Ave nearby. There is an overflow lot parking next to Longevity Club in the State Farm building that can also be utilized.

Space is limited to 23 attendees and the cost to attend is $15 per person. The final day to register is Friday, May 31st. As a reminder, Millennials in Travel members can use their MIT ID for complimentary access to two events. If you are interested in signing up for membership, you can select this add-on option when you RSVP for the event.

We hope you can join us and look forward to having you join us!
