CHS End of Summer Networking

  • The Dewberry Charleston 334 Meeting Street Charleston, SC, 29403 United States (map)

Join Millennials in Travel Charleston for an end of summer networking event at The Dewberry!

Please join the Millennials in Travel CHS Chapter for an evening of industry networking on Thursday, August 29th from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM for happy hour at Henrietta's at The Dewberry (first floor, entrance located in the historic lobby).

This event is hosted by the Dewberry team: Julianne Urbancic, Director of Leisure Sales, and Sarah Propester, Director of Sales and Events.

Honoring the history of the landmark L. Mendel Rivers Federal Building (circa 1964), The Dewberry captures the luxury and quiet restraint that are hallmarks of historic Charleston. Inside and out, The Dewberry is a manifestation of founder John Dewberry’s vision of “Southern Reimagined™.” As much a setting as it is a state of mind, the hotel was brought to life over eight years by a team of architects and designers who shared Dewberry’s mission to present Charleston from a uniquely personal perspective. The result is a thoughtfully imagined juxtaposition of past and present that redefines what is possible when historic preservation is paramount.

Complimentary valet parking at the hotel is available. Just mention the MIT event being held in Henrietta’s to validate your parking. Additionally, there is metered parking on the surrounding streets.

Drinks & lite bites will be provided. A site inspection of rooms will be available for attendees.

Extend your stay in Charleston! If you are attending from out of town, The Dewberry is offering a discounted rate for your stay August 29th - $249 + taxes. Reach out to Julianne Urbancic for further information (jurbancic@dewberryhotels.com).

Don't forget to bring your business cards! Travel advisors in attendance will have the chance to win a one-night stay in a One Bedroom Suite with $45 daily breakfast credit and luxury service at our spa (Signature Dewberry Massage or Signature Dewberry Facial).

Space is limited to 30 attendees and the cost to attend is $15 per person. As a reminder, Millennials in Travel members can use their MIT ID for complimentary access to two events. If you are interested in signing up for membership, you can select this add-on option when you RSVP for the event.

We hope you can join us and look forward to meeting you! This is an open invitation, so feel free to invite your millennial colleagues and industry friends.

Sincerely,

Your CHS MIT Team
