Join Millennials in Travel and Under Canvas on a weekend retreat to Zion National Park. A stay with Under Canvas Zion provides travelers the unique experience of enjoying nature and beautiful views, without forgoing many of the comforts of a hotel room. Experience starry night skies, wild landscapes, healthy cafe-style dining, and a luxurious private tent. Plus, you’re able to bring a companion complimentary to share your tent!
Arrive to the camp and settle into your safari-style canvas tent complete with warm plush bedding and a wood burning stove. Spend the evening taking in the calming ambiance within the beautiful panoramic landscape as you enjoy a meal, partake in a yoga class or share stories around the fire pit.
On Saturday, wake up to a beautiful, crisp Fall morning in Zion. Start the day off with a morning yoga class on our yoga pad and enjoy 360 degree breathtaking views as the sun begins to rise. Then head to the reception tent to order a healthy breakfast to fuel your day, while you enjoy the morning views from the outdoor patio or restock your fire and stay cozy inside your tent!
As mid-morning approaches head out to explore all that Zion National Park has to offer. Choose from the large variety of hiking trails throughout the park or have our activities team organize an outing for you such as helicopter tours, canyoneering, mountain biking and jeep tours or if you’re in the mood to relax, in-tent massages can be arranged (arranged activities are additional charges).
To unwind after the day, jump into a hot shower either inside your tent, or at a bathroom conveniently located just steps away. High-quality, organic bath products are provided so no need to pack those! Then, head back to our main reception tent to enjoy a hot dinner featuring local cuisine, while you enjoy a beverage of your choice. As the sun sets and the air gets chilly, curl up by our fit pit and treat yourself to some s’mores while you relax and listen to live music Saturday evening. Once back at your tent, get that wood-burning stove going to warm up for a good night’s sleep.
Sunday brings an additional opportunity to take in the peaceful sights and sounds, while rejuvenating with the refreshing mountain air or enjoy another yoga class amongst the backdrop of the colorful sunrise. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participation is free for active, dues paying Millennials in Travel members upon written acceptance, but does not include listed exclusions such as transportation to/from Under Canvas Zion, meals, arranged activities and gratuities. Accommodations and some activities are included. This FAM invitation is extended to twenty qualified travel agents who currently sell domestic accommodations. One companion is allowed per tent, however bedding type cannot be guaranteed. Submission of your application does not guarantee acceptance. Application deadline is October 24, 2019. You will be notified by Millennials in Travel of your FAM acceptance on or before October 25, 2019 and must reconfirm acceptance by October 29, 2019 with a signed Millennials in Travel Release Form. Should you be offered a spot and are unable to accept participation due to unapproved absence from work, you may no longer qualify for future FAM opportunities. Airport gateway and/or date deviations are not available. Please do not confirm any travel plans before being explicitly notified by Millennials in Travel of your acceptance.
